Genecis converts food waste into biodegradable plastics and other high value materials to reduce plastic pollution. Out of the 8.3 billion tons of plastics produced almost 80% has ended in landfills or leaked into the environment. There is virtually no place on Earth which is left untouched by plastic pollution; it could even serve as a geological indicator of the Anthropocene era. Genecis wants to change this.
